Title: Understanding Neurological Pain: A Literal Pain in the Neck
Description: In this lecture, we will explore pain and the neurological system. The plan is to briefly touch on the boring stuff (e.g., neuropathology) and then move on to the good stuff (the various presentations of neurological pain, and those diseases that mimic neurogenic pain). Videos and clinical cases will be provided as time allows.

Kent Vince, DVM, MSpVM, DACVS-SA

Title: My Approach to Chronic Arthritic Pain Management in the Dog and Cat
Description: A review of the current literature and treatment modalities for chronic arthritic pain management in the dog and cat.

Gregg Bennett, DVM

Title: Rehabilitation Therapy and Pain 'Control in General Practice; Techniques for Improving Patient Comfort
Description: Physical Medicine (Rehabilitation Therapy) is the application of external forces, including heat, cold, pressure, light, sound, electrical current, and exercise, to effect change in tissue. Many techniques available to the general practitioner are effective tools for improving patient comfort. This talk will focus on things you can do to improve both short and long-term comfort in your patients.

Luminita Sarbu, DVM, PhD, DACVIM (Oncology)
